Which Hair Extensions Does Diana Marie Offer?
At Diana Marie we offer a variety of hair extensions such as: Microbead Individual Strands, Microbead Wefts, Tapes, Mini tapes (exclusively at Diana Marie), Keratin bonds, Mini bonds & Clip in hair extensions.
Not all methods suit every person, this is why we recommend having a consult with Diana Marie and her team before making the booking (in person or via SMS).

Microbead Individuals
Microbead individual strands are a single strand application, weighing 1g / strand. Made up of Italian keratin and applied with a small bead clamping down with pliers.
You generally have these refitted every 6-8 weeks, although every individuals hair growth and type can be different. Some may need sooner and some can go longer.
A full head is generally 100 strands, 100g per full head.
This hair extension type is not for everyone. In my opinion these are NOT for thin hair types and can weigh down the scalp. These can last years, however if the customer does not take care of the extension and applies too much heat or straightens over the micro bead, it will cause the Italian keratin tip to melt and un bond, giving you less wear out of them.
This method can take up to 2 hours for application for a full head or more depending how many strands are applied. Less than a half head, will be quicker.

Micro Bead Weft Extensions
Micro Bead Wefts are similar to African style braiding, however they are applied row by row with beads. These are also similar to clip in hair extensions as these are also applied row by row, but instead of clipping them in they are a permanent method and micro beaded on row by row.

These are cut to each individual head size by Diana Marie to seamlessly blend into your natural hair. They can be reused over and over many times. The hair will eventually shed thinner as usual, however these are a lifetime method.
This method can take up to 1-1.5 hours for a full head of application, the more hair applied the longer it will take, the less hair applied the faster it will be.
Tape Hair Extensions
Tape Hair Extensions are pieces of hair with about 2.5g per pieces, 40 pieces per full head equalling to 100g per full head. These are the most seamless hair extensions and blend perfectly in most people’s hair.
These are absolutely perfect for finer hair as they sit flat against the scalp so there is no pulling on the roots of the natural hair. If applied correctly these are very safe for most hair types. You are in safe hands here at Diana Marie.
These extensions have a strong professional adhesive extension tape and are sandwiched around your own natural hair which can be very discreet sitting flat against the scalp. A regular full head involves 40 pieces (20 pairs). This is also the fastest method on the market. you retape these between 6-8 weeks. You can re-use this hair over and over again, providing the bond of the tape is good quality and doesn’t break when retaping.
Here at Diana Marie they are machine made weft tape extensions ensuring they are a very strong bond and can never break!
Mini Tapes
Mini Tapes are the exact same method as above, but here at Diana Marie we have created the tapes to be half the size of a normal sized tape so it’s less weight on the scalp per strand. They are more flexible and all less visible!
The majority of Diana Marie’s clients when switching from normal sized tapes never look back and love the mini tapes.
Retaping and the longevity is the exact same as regular tapes above.
Keratin Bonds
Keratin Bonds are a very old method, but recently has made a comeback and very popular.
Keratin Bonds are made up of high-quality Italian keratin which is a protein that is natural in your hair.
To apply Keratin Bonds, we use a special low heat keratin bond iron and wrap them around your natural hair strand bye strand. The bond is very strong and very undetectable, being the same colour as your natural hair. These can be worn for up to 3-6 months. These are great for customers that don’t want to keep coming back for retouch appointments.
Clip In Hair Extensions
Clip In Hair Extensions are a method that is great for customers who don’t want hair extensions in permanently and want long hair or thicker hair every now and then or for an occasion. These can be taken out whenever you please.
It instantly adds volume and length as you desire. Clip In Extensions are very popular for clients who want them for only occasions; events, parties, weddings, birthdays etc. these can also be a trial to see if long hair is for you!
